It's Been A Long While

Well time has sure flown by and things have been getting busier and busier. I am enjoying life though and so many wonderful opportunities and things have happened in the past that it has been so great. God is so good and he does so many wonderful things in our lives!
Just recently I have gained an almost new sister again! My little brother is engaged and his fiance is Lindsey! She is a wonderful girl that I have gotten to know so much better and have had a lot of fun with. Derek has made such a wonderful choice, but so has Lindsey. I had the wonderful opportunity to take their engagement pictures, which was super fun, and I am finding such a great new love and possible career opportunity! Anyways, here are just some of the pictures I took!

They were a lot of fun and I just want to send COngrats to them! Happy Planning!

Spring Is In The Air

(pictures will come in a bit!)
Well all I can say is that I am really excited about spring and summer being here. I am just excited for the nice weather, even if it will be hot hot hot (i say that now). I have been enjoying an almost daily walk with my mom this past while when the weather has been half decent and neither of us have been working. I just love being outside. The fres air always does something to a person, it refreshes and gives a person that much more energy, even if you have just been getting exercise. I just thoroughly enjoy those walks that we are able to take!
As well with spring there is always new beginnings! Such as Daniel (my big brother) and Kim getting engaged! I am so excited for the two of them. I cannot wait and I know that God is truely going to bless them for the couple that they are and for the love that they show others and eachother. I am just excited to have another wedding in the family. I loved planning my wedding and would want to plan it over and over again! So I will send out a BIG CONGRATS to them!

With summer coming as well we are pushing through the reno's! Things are coming so nicely! Our cupboards are in, our countertop is in, our living room is done, our wall is knocked out, and now we are just working on the mudding of the arch way (if you call it that) between the living room and kitchen where we knocked the wall out. It is so much more open, and makes so much more sense. I just love it in there, it is a cute little house that i am so excited to be in with my wonderful husband. He is working so hard on the house, work, and school work, and I am so proud of him for that! It is coming along and without his hard work and effort that he continually puts in for me, it wouldn't have been this far! There is just flooring, finishing the mudding and sanding we are doing, painting, and little stuff in the kitchen left! I am very excited and I cannot wait!

God is so good and he continually shows us that He is truely there for us and He is the one that is in control. We went to a marriage retreat at Dallas Valley Camp and it was so great to get away the two of us and to just enjoy our time together. It's not like we have kids that we were getting away from, but just getting away from the busyness of life. No work, or anything around to distract us, but there was just the two of us to enjoy eachothers company. It was great. In the process of being there, we had forgotten our camera and winter jacket there. I was so worried and knew that i just had to rely on God and I knew that he did have everything in control, but there was still that part of me that wanted to control. I wanted to look everwhere "just in case" I wanted to find these items, because we couldn't figure out how we could have lost them! All in all God is faithful and shows us that yes He is in control and things will happen in His timing and not our own. Our stuff was just put in another room and we were able to get it within the next few days. But we must remember that God is the one in control and not to worry cause he has everything under control!

"So do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow
will take care of itself. Each day has
enough troubles of its own."

I Miss the Warmth

Well, we are back now from our holiday to Puerto Plata in the Dominican, but I do miss it. We had such a wonderful time, and I would definitely love to go back right now. We met some wonderful people and were able to make some great friends. It was so nice to go and relax and just enjoy the company of each other.
We did things like laying on the beach, laying by the pool, kayaking, pedal boating, boogie boarding, swimming in the ocean, and so many other things. The weather while we were down there was just wonderful and we never had to wear pants once! The only time that it rained was during the night, or else during the day for only 20 minutes! It was just great! Full sun, and at times full strength humidity! The temp, without humidity and such, was around the 27 mark, but then plus humidity felt like about mid 30's.
We also took an excursion to the the town and saw some of the real dominican life. It was defiantly an eye opener for us, but was an enjoyable time. I sat on a 1.5 ton bull, held a boa constrictor, saw someone doing carvings out of petrified wood, swam at a private beach, horseback rode, and saw where they filmed some of the Jurassic Park. It was a beautiful country side and as well was very mountainous. It was wonderful. But enough of that, here are some pictures.

...mmm beaches...

Well, all I can say is that God is so good and I do not thank him enough. He continually provides for us and I fail to give Him the thanks that he deserves. I am so thankful for the everyday things like water, shelter, food, clothing, a warm car that I can drive, the fact that I can drive, work that he provides, wonderful and interesting people to work with, opportunities to witness and live for Him, wonderful friends and family, and the list continues on and on. Most of all I am so thankful for my husband. God has blessed me so richly, and I think of this everytime I think about what a blessing Aaron is to me. He is such a wonderful husband to me. He is there for me through anything and always remains joyful and faithful. He is patient with me when I am frustrating, he is loving to me when I need it the most, or even just in general. He is there through the thick and the thin and I could not thank God enough for that. It has been the most wonderful two and a half years learning and growing with Aaron and For God.
THANK YOU LORD
As well about the title! Aaron and I are heading down to the Dominican coming up fast here, so if you could remember us in your prayers that would be greatly appreciated. We are down there for a week and are so excited to spend that time together. We are going just the two of us for an extended honeymoon. We went to Banff for our honeymoon and had such a wonderful time, and would not take it back, but we always told ourselves that we wanted to go again somewhere farther. So that is what we are doing. It will be wonderful and I am so excited for it! God is just simply amazing and we are so excited to just go and see the world that He created.
